If I dragged through this whole sprint
The deep shame of having been
An engineer of true worth
'Neath the hood of my hoodie
So many times, in silence
A single tear of deep stress
I could not hold back at all

If I roamed through the repos
Like a pariah the agent
Was bent on rewriting all
If I was weak, or blinded
I just want them to grasp now
The true price that it carries
The courage of the review

Now! PRs rolling down the mountain
All these PRs left unchecked
I cannot start them no more
Dreaming of code I once wrote there
The true craft I loved so much
And will not return to me

For me, work was a calling
Like a bright spring morning sun
My passion and my reason
Two tasks in parallel run
Prompt by prompt without a rest
And it breaks, bit by bit, now
My poor brain is in total doom

Technical debt lives in the code
But cognitive debt lives in me
Finished early, my brother
Picked up another task and more
And my lunch is ice cold

Now! PRs rolling down the mountain
From vibe-coding to pure doom
There is no way to break free
Back to the craft that I once felt
When the code was all my own
And I could get some real rest
